A total of fifteen pieces of artwork by Lester were installed in various prominent areas within both Hanoi and Long Bien railway stations. Artworks included large format images, travel posters, information boards and a floodlit checkpoint area at Long Bien railway station. Images produced depicted well-know tourist destinations in Vietnam and reflected Vietnamese culture.

 Station Environments

The bright, vibrant and cheerful images of the installed artworks, enhanced the station environments for both passengers (local and international) and station staff.

The Checkpoint area was installed as a meeting point for passengers to take photographs, take a break from their journeys’ and to provide information about Long Bien Bridge.

Team

The team of printers, installers and interpreters involved in the installation of the artworks, all contributed to the success of the project. For Lester, it was a pleasure and privilege to work with the staff of Vietnam Railways.
